January 2: Weekly Girls Who Code club at the Newton Free Library. For teens.
January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31: Hands-on engineering and design at the MIT Museum (Cambridge). Free with Museum admission. (Ages 12+)
January 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, 27, 31: 3D design and printing classes for kids at MakerBot in Boston. Cost: admission price varies.
January 5, 12, 19, 26: Learn to code at HATCH in the Arsenal Project in Watertown. All ages.

January 6: Intro to 3D printing at the Beverly Public Library. (Ages 10+)
January 7, 14, 21, 28: Learn about basic electronics and build circuits at the Peabody Institute Library. (Ages 16+)
January 8: Advanced Scratch for teens at the Morse Institute Library in Natick. (Ages 11-18)
January 8, 15, 22, 29: Take part in a STEM challenge and build a race car at the Uphams Corner branch of the Boston Public Library. (Ages 8+)
January 10: Learn to code– Beginners with CoderDojo at Microsoft’s NERD center in Cambridge. Free event (Ages 7-17)
January 10: Learn to code– Minecraft Mods w/Javascript with CoderDojo at Microsoft’s NERD center in Cambridge. Free event
January 10: Learn 3D design using Blender at the Wayland Free Public Library. (Ages 14+)
January 13: Join the new Girls Who Code club at the Peabody Institute Library. (Grades 6-12)
January 14: Perform daring science experiments at the Cary Memorial Library in Lexington. (Grades 4-6)
January 14: Come learn about robots from the team at iRobot at the Morse Institute Library in Natick. (Ages 11-18)
January 14, 28: Make projects with LEGO WeDo Robotics at HATCH’s makerspace in the Arsenal Project. (Grades 2-5)

January 25: Grand opening of HATCH makerspace in the Arsenal Project in Watertown. All ages.
January 26: Design 3D objects at the Newton Free Library. (Grades 6-12).
January 28: Introduction to 3D Modeling at HATCH in the Arsenal Project in Watertown. (High School +)
January 31: Enhance your phone with 3D printing at the Peabody Institute Library. (Ages 11-18)
