May 1: Design 3D objects with Tinkercad at the Morse Institute Library in Natick. (Ages 11-18)
May 1: Weekly Girls Who Code Club at the Newton Free Library. For teens.
May 2, 9, 16, 30: Math club for middle and high school students at the Burlington Public Library.
May 2, 3: Artisan’s Asylum’s maker space will be open to the public for Somerville Open Studios.
May 2, 9, 30: Math 101 covers concepts through stories, games, and worksheets at the Central branch of the Boston Public Library. (Ages 4-7)
May 3: Weekly Girls Who Code at the Cambridge Public Library. (Grades 6-12)
May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31: Hands-on engineering and design at the MIT Museum in Cambridge. Free with Museum admission. (Ages 12+)
May 5: Weekly Girls Who Code Club at the Peabody Institute Library. For teens.
May 5, 19: Create, share ideas, and explore technology in a Teen MakerLAB at the Morse Institute Library in Natick. (Ages 11-18)
May 6: Hands-on science experiments at the Cary Memorial Library in Lexington. (Grades 4-6)
May 6: Learn how 3D printing works at the Newton Free Library. (Grades 6-12)
May 9: Create DIY robots using magnets and found materials at the Morse Institute Library in Natick.
May 9: Meet the Natick High School Robotics team and see the bots they’ve created at the Morse Institute Library in Natick.
May 12: Six-week programming course for designing video games at the Peabody Institute Library. (Ages 13-adult)
May 12, 19, 26: Participate in STEAM stories and activities at Tinker Tots at the Central branch of the Boston Public Library.
May 13: Play math games at the Newton Free Library. (Grades 1-4 and 5-8)
May 14: Learn about fossils and dinosaurs at the Robbins Library in Arlington. (Ages 4-10)
May 16: Hands-on Engineering at Science on Saturday at Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington. Free event. (All ages)
May 16: Mad Science programs about architects and engineers and electricity at the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy. (Ages 3-5 and 6-10)
May 16: 3D printer demo at the Peabody Institute Library.
May 18: Intro to 3D printing at the Peabody Institute Library. (Ages 9-13)
May 19: Beginning Java study group by Girl Develop It at the Cary Memorial Library in Lexington.
May 19: Learn how 3D printing works at the Newton Free Library. (Grades 2-5)
May 20: Make awesome creations with soft circuits with Einstein’s Workshop at the Morse Institute Library in Natick. (Ages 11-18)
May 21: Explore and work with Scratch at the Newton Free Library. (Grades 3-6)
May 22: Engineer a building out of marshmallows and toothpicks at the Newton Free Library. (Grades K-2)
May 27: Makerspace projects at the Watertown Free Public Library. (Grades 2-5).
